How do I enroll my child(ren)?
You can either complete the Enrollment Inquiry Form button in our Programs menu and one of our Family Engagement staff will contact you to or you can call the center at 617-445-1420 and ask to speak to someone about enrollment. If our staff are busy with other families, you may be asked to leave a message, which we will return in a timely manner.

Do all teachers in the program receive ongoing training in working with children and child development?
Yes, all Teachers have taken at least one college-level course in child development and many either have degrees or are actively working towards them. All staff, including Teaching Assistants, complete a comprehensive training and orientation process. Throughout the year, all teaching staff participate in on-site professional development opportunities designed to build on their strengths and address individual needs and classroom challenges. Crispus also encourages staff to attend trainings outside the program and provides tuition reimbursement.
Are families allowed to come into Crispus Attucks?
Families should drop off and pick up their child(ren) directly to and from their classrooms and are welcome to visit their child’s classroom at any time.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm.
How late can I drop off my child?
All children should be in their classrooms no later than 9:30am. Due to the specific schedule and curriculum, students enrolled in Boston Pre-K classrooms should arrive by 8:30am. If you arrive after 9:30am, you will need to come to the main office and receive a late slip in order to enter your child’s classroom. Because late arrivals can be so disruptive to teachers, classmates and the child themselves, late arrivals are tracked and repeated lateness may result in the termination of care. Any child(ren) arriving after 10am will not be admitted unless they have been pre-approved to arrive late due to a medical appointment for the child. A doctor’s note will be required for admission. In no case will children be admitted to the program after 11am.
Do you have a lactation room?
Yes, we have a private space available for nursing moms.
