Teresa Maria Spera has been Director of the Preschool Program since 2019.  With considerable experience as an early childhood education director, she is passionate about fostering a nurturing, play-based learning environment.  She has previously served as Director of the Infant and Toddler program at Ellis Early Learning in Boston and as the director of a Montessori school in Colorado.  She is a certified Montessori teacher, Brazelton Touchpoints Approach trained and is a certified CLASS Observer (Pre-K to 3rd grade). She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UMass Boston.
