Ways To Give

The Center receives a significant portion of its annual revenue from government sources. However, these funds do not support all of the services we provide. As such, CACC relies on generous support from individuals and foundations to help close the gap.

Volunteers and donors make a significant difference in the lives of the children and families served by the Center. Your generosity helps maintain high quality, challenging educational programs and support services for our students and their families. Donations of your time and financial support help Crispus Attucks prepare children to succeed.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Center always welcomes individuals looking to volunteer their time or services. Whether you are interested in reading to children in a classroom or assisting with fundraising or administrative tasks, we welcome the assistance.

Fundraising

Fundraising to maintain a high quality program is an ongoing need. In order to replenish educational supplies and equipment, stay abreast of improvements in early childhood education curriculum and software, and to provide professional development for the staff, we will continue to need and actively seek the support of individuals and foundations. For those who have supported the Center in the past, thank you and we hope you will continue to invest in us. For those new to Crispus Attucks, please join us in making a difference for the children we now serve.

Matching Gift Program

If your company has a matching gift program, you can increase the size of your gift to Crispus Attucks. Please check with your Human Resources Department to learn more about the matching gift program available to you.

Bequests

Providing for the Center as part of your overall Estate Plan is a excellent way to provide financial support and receive tax benefits. Your bequest may be for a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the residual of your estate after other specific bequests have been made. We welcome these gifts, but please consult your financial advisors for the impact this has on your personal situation.

Securities Gifts

Gifts of securities can also be a cost effective way to make charitable gifts, by giving the full market value of the security while avoiding any potential capital gains. These gifts are handled on a case by case basis, so please contact the Center if you would like to provide this type of support.

Professional Services

The Center welcomes time and services donated by individuals and companies that enhance the education we can provide the children. Skills and services that are currently desired are marketing, human resources, fundraising, technology integration, and music.
